Interactive German Conversation
with Lizz Caplan
An interactive online German conversation course, this is a short but intensive course designed to increase your “Sprachfertigkeit” (readiness to speak)!
In this class, we will use speech gambits and scripts for information exchange between conversation partners. These “Wechselspiele” will help you improve the speed and accuracy of your spoken responses. While the course will not focus on grammar, the activities will feature specific grammar points as they function within practical contexts.
Ideally, students will be at the A2-B1 level, but absolute beginners can also gain useful speaking skills through this type of practice. Higher level students will find this course helpful if they need improvement in speed and fluency.
This Special Interest class meets online using Google Meet on Mondays from 6:30-8:15pm for 6 weeks. Class meeting dates:
- October 27
 - November 3, 10, 17
 - December 1, 8
