Join us for our new German for Traveling online Special Interest course! In just five evenings online, you will get specialized instruction in listening and speaking German, featuring the sentences, words, and phrases that you'll use during your next trip to German-speaking countries.

Features of this course:

• Vocabulary presented in phrase and full sentence format
• Dialogs and videos to situate the vocabulary in social contexts to aid recognition and comprehension
• Listening and speaking practice in the privacy of your own home

Schedule:

During five Monday evenings in June online you'll learn the following:

• June 2 Planning: Numbers; Time; Currency; Directions; Destinations
• June 9 Getting there: Booking a flight; At the airport; Greetings; Lost luggage
• June 16 Staying there: Booking a hotel (Gasthof, Pension, AirBnB); Reading reviews; Lodging complaints/compliments; Breakfast
• June 23 Moving on: Renting a car; Road trip; Public transport; Taxi; Train; Bike
• June 30 Enjoying the journey: Restaurants; Museums; Shopping; Shows; Scavenger hunting; Linguistic immersion

This Special Interest course is designed for students with (upper) beginner to intermediate language skills (A1 - A2+). No absolute beginners, please. Class meets online Mondays from 7-8:45pm from June 2 - June 30.
