German Language School of the North Bay

This Special Interest course is designed for advanced adult learners of German who wish to deepen their language skills through the exploration of various German texts and literature. Together, we will read the texts in manageable segments, summarize and analyze chapters, and engage in guided discussions that explore the language, themes, and cultural context.

In addition to developing reading fluency and vocabulary, students will strengthen their speaking and writing skills through collaborative reflection and ongoing practice. The course features a final collaborative project, allowing students to creatively apply what they’ve learned.

This Special Interest class meets in person at our Santa Rosa campus for 15 weeks on Fridays from 5-7pm, September-January on the following dates:
