Movement, Art, and, Storytelling

This is a one-week day camp for kids 5 to 10 years old! During this fun week of practicing German, the kids will create and be engaged in puppet shows and plays based on traditional German fairytales and contemporary stories.

The teacher will engage the class in art projects such as wet felting, constructing hand puppets, watercolor painting, and nature crafts. Movement games and yoga stories will add to a healthy daily structure, fostering development of German language skills, friendships, and creative expression. Most activities will be indoors, with time to play outside as well.

Kids attending this day camp should have some basic German knowledge.

This day camp is taught by Doris Bognar, a native speaker with many years of teaching experience, with an assistant to help as well.

This day camp is in session August 4-8 from 9am-3pm at our Santa Rosa Campus. Cost includes all craft supplies and snacks. Students must bring their own lunch.
